Songfacts®:

  • Paris Hilton ventured into music in 2006 with her debut album, Paris, and lead single, "Stars Are Blind." The song was well received, but Hilton remained focused on her reality show The Simple Life, and didn't put out another album until 2024, when, with encouragement from Sia, she returned with Infinite Icon, with Sia as executive producer. By this time, Hilton was married with two kids. The song "Legacy" is a tribute to them. "Loving them is my legacy," she explained.
  • Hilton wrote this song along with Dallas Caton, Alex Chapman and Alexandra Veltri; Caton produced it along with Jesse Shatkin and Alex Frankel. Caton is a writer and producer on Em Beihold's song "Numb Little Bug."
  • Paris Hilton did a lot of DJ sets over the years but didn't play her first full concert until June 7, 2023 at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, where she sang "Legacy" for the first time.
