Songfacts®:

  • Pierce The Veil frontman Vic Fuentes described this song as his gift to his ex-girlfriend who successfully battled breast cancer. Speaking to breast cancer charity Keep A Breast, he said the track is, "about how proud I am of her making it through all the pain and the treatment all on her own, She's the strongest girl I've ever known and I'm inspired by her every day."
  • Fuentes told Kerrang: "It sounds like a difficult subject to cover but it wasn't in the sense that I wrote the song after she had beaten the cancer. It's actually a celebratory song and it was supposed to be a sort of a gift to her to say 'Hey I'm proud of you. I can't believe you made it through such a horrible situation.' I wrote it for her to talk about and mark the struggle she went through."
