• This is the first single from Pink's sixth studio album. She wrote the track with Californian producer Greg Kurstin, whose other credits include Lily Allen's "The Fear" and Kelly Clarkson's "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)." Little had been heard from Pink since 2010, as she had taken time off to be a mother to her baby daughter, Willow. The only new material that Pink released during that period was "Bridge Of Light," a one-off single from the Happy Feet Two soundtrack.
• Motherhood has evidently not tamed Pink. The feisty songstress tells her ex on this breakup tune, "You will pay for your sins, you'll be sorry my dear. All the lies, all the lies, will be crystal clear."
  
  Rolling Stone asked the happily married mom where all this vitriol came from? "It's very easy for me to tap into 'go f--k yourself,'" she said. "Maybe that's the only way I feel powerful. I'm in the best place I've ever been in my life, and I'd say it's 80 percent happiness and 20 percent sheer confusion and fear that I'll f--k it up somehow. I'm consumed by my emotions."
• Pink told Australia's Today Show : "It's a really fun song. I can picture everyone extremely drunk dancing late at night together. It's a very happy song, although it's angry."
• Pink originally titled the song "Blow Me." It was her record company that added the bracketed 'One Last Kiss.'
• The song's mainly black and white music video was directed by longtime collaborator Dave Meyers. Pink stars in the clip alongside Michael Cardelle (Karmen Rider: Dragon Knight) as her potential love interest and Andreas Holm-Hansen (Dreaming in Mono) as the guy who gives her a lift in his flying machine at the end.
• Kurstin revealed to Billboard magazine the song was written and recorded in one day but originally the chorus had different lyrics. "She kept coming back to, 'Let's throw in the towel,' and it was one of those things where we had to say, 'Is that line really the song?'" he said. "So then I came back with 'Blow me... one last kiss' and we got really excited. Most of the time with Pink she's so strong writing lyrics, I don't really interfere. I let her do her thing. That could've been the only time I did that."
• Melissa Benoist and Alex Newell performed this on the 2012 Glee episode "The Role You Were Born To Play."
• This was used on Degrassi: The Next Generation ("The Time of My Life: Part 1") and New Girl ("Bachelorette Party") in 2013.
• The single's cover art, which features the song title coming out of Pink's red-lipped open mouth, is based on the movie poster to the 1974 adult film Emmanuelle.
