Songfacts®:

  • Pink co-wrote and recorded this celebration of individuality for Disney's movie Alice Through the Looking Glass. It marked the first time the songstress has written an original song for a live-action feature film. Pink also did a cover version of "White Rabbit" for the motion picture's marketing campaign.
  • Pink co-penned the song with Swedish producers Max Martin, Shellback and Oscar Holter. Pink, Martin and Shellback previously struck gold with the songstress' Hot 100 #1 hits: "So What" and "Raise Your Glass."
  • The song was only Pink's second solo release since 2013, following on from 2015's non-album single "Today's The Day," which also served as a theme tune for season 13 of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
  • This is the second "just like" song Pink has recorded, following her 2002 hit single "Just Like A Pill."
  • Directed by Dave Meyers (Katy Perry, Rihanna), the song's music video starts with a cameo from Pink's husband, Carey Hart. The singer and her 4-year-old daughter, Willow Sage, then enter a trippy Lewis Carroll world journeying through various Alice in Wonderland locales. Pink takes on a number of characters from the English writer's fantasy universe, including a complete chess board army and a floating Mad Hatter's tea party. There are also brief cameos from the movie's stars, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter.
