Songfacts®:

  • This UK garage inspired tune was produced by Mojam Music, who also helmed Green's single "Monster" from his debut album, Alive Till I'm Dead. Green commented to Irish State Broadcaster RTÉ regarding the song's sound: "It's that whole breakbeat thing. I'm not really into the housey side of things - if I do anything that leans towards dance it's going to be dubstep or breaking because they're my roots."
  • Green recounts on "Remedy" all-night reveling and "partying with Charlie Sheen." It features the sultry vocal talents of Irish singer, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, who also co-penned the song. The rapper was introduced to her by singer-songwriter Ed Drewett, who contributed to his breakthrough hit, "I Need You Tonight."
  • The song's music video shows Green and his friends on a night out in East London. Whilst Ruth-Anne doesn't feature in the clip, BBC Breakfast host Bill Turnbull pops up in a cameo near the end. Green's girlfriend Millie Mackintosh from Made In Chelsea and Lucy Collett, the winner of The Sun newspaper's 2011 Page 3 Idol competition also make appearances.
