  • Ramone Rochester is a UK rapper who records under the name of Ramz. This is his debut single in which Ramz deliberates whether he should meet up with his "ting from Barking." (A "ting" is a Caribbean slang word for someone who you can have fun without being in an actual committed relationship with that person).
  • Barking is a suburban town east of the city of London. Ramz, who hails from Mitcham in the south of London told Bespoke Mag the song is based on a real-life story about an actual Barking bae. "I speak to her but it's not like… it's a little thing on the side," he said.
