Songfacts®:

  • This song finds Rita Ora and Chris Brown trading racy verses. Brown is a controversial choice of duet partner for some, given his legal troubles such as the assault on his then-girlfriend, Rihanna. Speaking to The Sun, Ora defended her collaboration, saying, "Chris Brown is strong, powerful and someone that is important to me personally and professionally. The discrimination and what people think? If you have a great song then no one cares."
  • The smooth and electric beat was supplied by The Monsters and The Strangerz, whose other productions include Pitbull's song "Fun," which featured Chris Brown. The production team also worked with Breezy on his X track, "Don't Be Gone Too Long."
  • The song was released as Ora's first single off her US debut album, which she told New York's Hot 97 is all about the "p---y power." The English songstress explained: "It's really about how we get judged for the things that we do and how men don't. I know it's part of society, but I think we can still stick together as females. And also, I feel like at the moment, females have never been closer - pop stars, specifically. It's an exciting time for females in this industry."
  • Asked by Manchester radio station Key 103 how the duet with Chris Brown came about, Ora replied: "It was a natural kind of collaboration. He was actually recording next door and I just thought there was a really good moment for me to go in there and say, 'Hey, I think I've got a song.'"

"We've been wanting to work together for a while and he listened to it and loved it. And then that was it, we recorded it."

"We were in there together, which is really rare nowadays since people do things all over the place. But we were there together, yeah. It was great. He's very musical. He's such a talented artist."
  • The official remix was released on August 25, 2015. It also features Chris Brown and a new verse by rapper Fetty Wap in which he turns on the charm to his special lady. At the time of the remix's release, Fetty Wap was opening for Brown on his One Hell of a Nite tour.
