  • Canadian singer and songwriter, Ruth B, discovered a successful writing method that works well for her with her viral hit, "Lost Boy," which started as a 6-second clip on Vine. The last song "Superficial Love" on her debut EP The Intro also began as a Vine. She posted a video of the first lyric of the chorus, "This superficial love thing got me going crazy," and just wrote the rest of the tune around that part.
  • Ruth revealed the lyrical meaning of the song in our interview. "That is more me saying some people are going to try to be in your life for the wrong reasons and just be careful of that," she said.
