Songfacts®:

  • RZA wrote this downtempo tribute song the night of November 30, 2013 after learning that his friend, the actor Paul Walker, was killed in a car crash that day at the age of forty. RZA had worked with Walker on the film Brick Mansion, and bonded with him over art, music and fatherhood. Wrote RZA: "Millions of people get to know an artist or movie star through their work, but few are allowed to cross each others' paths and see through the veil of stardom and find the common denominator that we share." >>>
    Suggestion credit:
    Alexander Baron - London, England
  • The New Jersey musician Will Wells did the vocal on this track. Wells, who is also a guitarist and keyboard player, toured with Imagine Dragons.
