Album: Hideaway (1978)

Songfacts®:

  • This is a song for the girl who prefers the intellectual type.

Are you up for it baby? Great
...won't you come up to my room
So we can discuss, say, Egyptian tombs?

Now that is an original chat-up line, though not necessarily a winner. And not as avant guarde as rhyming "few little steps" with "Bolshoi ballets" pronouncing the latter to rhyme with pallets.

Having said that, this uptempo Georg Kajanus composition certainly has rhythm. It was the first track on the 1978 Hideaway album, and an obvious single, but for some unfathomable reason was not so released. >>>
