Songfacts®:

  • This duet between Scarlett O'Connor (Clare Bowen) and Gunnar Scott (Sam Palladio) features in the "Someday You'll Call My Name" episode of the ABC drama series, Nashville. The pair is seen performing the tune at Scarlett and her boyfriend Avery's home when her bad boy beau walks in and things get a little awkward.
  • Tyler James and Kate York wrote the song, whilst guitarist and producer Buddy Miller helmed the cut. James told American Songwriter, "We knew they were looking for songs for the show and Kate has known Buddy Miller for a while, so she sent over this home recording we did. Buddy has been helping select and produce songs for Nashville with T Bone Burnett, and they both really loved this one. So within 30 minutes of listening, the song was placed. Then a couple days later... the actors were tracking it."
