Frontman Roy Stride explained on his record label's website: "Most great Pop music is emotional and the biggest emotional moments in life are when you've either fallen in love or fallen out of love. Apart from death, which is a similar sort of emotion, losing someone through death. It's timeless. It's a combination of storytelling and personal experience. 'Elvis Ain't Dead,' for instance, I was reading this article about this guy who was completely convinced that Elvis was still alive, and I got the idea of someone who could believe anything in life."
The popularity of this third single helped their long-player to the top of the UK album charts after almost 5 months on release.
