Songfacts®:

  • Selena Gomez debuted this sendoff to an ex on May 6, 2016 during the opening night of her Revival World Tour at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. During a concert later that year, she introduced "Feel Me" by saying, "One night I was kind of irritated and I wrote this song."
  • By the turn of the decade, the tune was a fan favorite, but it only featured on the vinyl edition of her 2020 studio album Rare. Asked on Twitter after the release of Rare if "Feel Me" would be made available on digital platforms, Gomez replied. "That song was from when I was in a different place and doesn't fit with where I am right now." The singer changed her mind and she released the track as a digital download on iTunes on February 21, 2020 and included it on the Deluxe edition of Rare released six weeks later.
  • The song is a mid-tempo dance track where Gomez addresses an ex. She starts off by showing how she proved her love for him throughout their relationship.

No one love you like I love ya
    Never cheat, never lie
Never put no one above ya
I gave you space and time

Now her former boyfriend is with someone else, she hopes he still misses her and regrets his loss.

Every time your lips touch another
I want you to feel me
