Songfacts®:

  • This is a single from the Chicago heavy rockers Soil's sixth studio album, Whole. "It was funny how the song came about," said singer Ryan McCombs. "Adam [Zadel] was doodling on his guitar making this super annoying sound when he caught me staring at him with a 'wtf' look. He apologized but I responded that 'No. That annoying fu--ing sound would be perfect for this song about 'hate' I had an idea for.' The sound itself makes me want to knock holes in the wall."
