Songfacts®:

  • Here, Sophie Elise sings about sleeping with a former boyfriend's friends. "I always write from experience and it's based on an actual relationship but the bit about what I'd do to his friends isn't true," she explained to BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat.

"It's more about wanting to take revenge on someone who's hurt you."
  • Elise used a black actor to play her love interest in the song's music video. Incredibly in this so-called enlightened age, the Norwegian singer received racist and sexist abuse and even death threats because of her choice of co-lead.

"There's been so much hate, it's the most brutal thing I've seen in my life," she said. "The video was supposed to be about love. It just shows that it's 2017 but we haven't gone very far."
