Songfacts®:

  • Stephen Jerzak is a singer-songwriter hailing from La Crosse, Wisconsin. After garnering a large amount of popularity of attention on MySpace Music, especially for his acoustic pop single "Cute," he signed to Universal Republic in late 2009. For this slice of guilty-pleasure pop he was given a big studio treatment including a vocal contribution from Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, who appears in the video.
  • When we spoke with Jerzak in 2011, the 19-year-old told us that this is his best song. He said it's about "A girl that thinks she's all that and thinks that she can get with you. I'm just like, 'you ain't worth the trouble.' Not gonna happen."
  • The original title for this song was "Looker." Jerzak's producer Ian Kirkpatrick started writing the song and they finished it together. It ended up being much more electronic sounding than Jerzak's earlier work.
