Songfacts®:

  • Not to be confused with the song of the same title that was commissioned by the Ford Motor Company in the 1960s, the novelty song "Tractor Drivin' Man" was written and recorded by Stephen Kramer from Vancouver in Washington State. Kramer was actually born in Tennessee, which probably accounts for the sound of this particular song.

The lead vocals are by Lance Miller; Michael Black also contributes. According to Kramer, this is "What to do when it's time to take the tractor keys away from Grandpa." >>>
