  • After signing to Jay-Z's stable of in-house songwriters and producers, Roc Nation, Sugababes decamped to Los Angeles to record Sweet 7. "We were nervous at first because we were working with producers like [Lady Gaga producer] Red One. We sang on Lady Gaga's mike!" said Sugababe Heidi Range. "This is our biggest break, signing with Roc Nation."
  • This song was co-written by Ne-Yo and produced by Stargate. Sugababe Keisha Buchanan told Digital Spy: "Ne-Yo's written a song on the album called 'No More You,' which is a midtempo ballad a bit like Rihanna's 'Hate That I Love You' or 'Take a Bow.' We got to be really hands on with this album in choosing the songs that we wanted."
  • On September 21, 2009, it was announced that Buchanan had been asked to leave the band. She was replaced by former Eurovision Song Contest entrant Jade Ewen, who immediately began recording her vocals over Buchanan's in preparation for the album's release.
