Songfacts®:

  • Lead vocalist Tim Pagnotta: "This was a song that started originally as a riff. The harmonic guitar sounds between the chord changes were originally there just help keep the timing during the performance. When I stopped playing it on an acoustic and started playing it on an electric I heard those harmonics as being a cool thing to fill in the spaces. This song was pieced together over time in sections. It was like putting a puzzle together."
  • Guitarist Marko 72 describes the theme of this song as "something about the idea of making huge changes in your life or in society, in hopes of finding something better." >>>
