Songfacts®:

  • The song's music video was directed by Marc Klasfeld, who previously worked with Sum 41 on their clips for "Fat Lip," "In Too Deep" and "Hell Song."

The visual shows the band performing on a rooftop in downtown Los Angeles, where a host of popular internet memes, as well as internet public figures come to attack them. They include Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus on a Wrecking Ball, Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo, Angry Birds, Doge, Bill Cosby, Brad Pitt, Charlie Sheen, Sean Bean, Ben Affleck, Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, James Franco, Seth Rogen, Michael Jordan, Shia LaBeouf from his motivational video and even Kermit the Frog.

"The song is about leaving the past behind and moving on. With the video we're making fun of pop culture in a similar tone to some of our past videos like "Hell Song" and "Still Waiting". We're basically saying, that in the middle of all this bulls--t we're just a rock band doing our thing," said lead singer Deryck Whibley.
