Songfacts®:

  • The debut release from Taio Cruz's Roses Collection, this was the first of a string of singles to be dropped by the singer-songwriter after he rejected the album format.
  • The song was produced by Cruz and the production team, The Monsters & The Strangerz who have worked with Maroon 5 ("It Was Always You"), Selena Gomez ("Forget Forever") and Demi Lovato ("Never Been Hurt"). "It's a throwback to the 80s, but with modern production," Cruz said. "I wanted to start with a song that's a little different for me. It's slower, cooler, funkier, a little more live-sounding and with more vocals than most of the music I've done in the past. It feels more organic."
