Songfacts®:

  • This is the sixth single by British R&B artist Taio Cruz, from his second studio album, Rokstarr. Cruz wrote the song with Alan Kasirye, whose other credits include Cruz's hit collaboration with McFly, "Shine a Light," and "Old Fashioned" for Cee-Lo Green's The Lady Killer album.
  • Cruz described this to PopEater as a "Coldplay-esque, Take That-esque" song. He added, "I tried to just show off the scope, a little bit. I try to tell people that I just make good pop music."
  • This is one of Cruz's lighter tracks. He explained in publicity materials, "I played a lot of festivals last year and I wanted to write a song for those people standing in the sunshine wearing straw hats with their hands in the air!"
