  • This song was written by British singer-songwriters Paul Carrack and Nick Lowe and originally featured on Lowe's 1994 album The Impossible Bird. Carrack subsequently covered it as well as Nanci Griffith and Diana Ross.
  • Hicks explained to the Birmingham News: "I see this as the traditional blues song on the record. It's got great lyrics and a great story. I thought that I would love to be able to tell that story in my own way."
