  • Texas frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri and her writing partner, Texas guitarist Johnny McElhone, collaborated with singer-songwriter Richard Hawley to pen this song. "I remember Richard looking up and saying, 'Hell, if the three of us together can't write a half-decent song, we should just pack it in,'" Spiteri recalled to the Daily Telegraph.
  • The video stars Spiteri, This Is England actress Vicky McClure, and Ruta Gedmintas from Spooks Code 9 on a night out down their local pub. "It was a pleasure working with Vicky and Ruta as they're such great actresses and good friends of mine, so the whole day was easy and enjoyable," Spiteri told Digital Spy. "To be honest, when you're in a pub having a drink with your mates it feels more like a night out than a day at work. I thought we were genius at acting drunk!"
  • The song was described by Spiteri as: "One woman talking to another who's going through a really shi--y time. Absolutely a through-and-through woman's song."
