Songfacts®:

  • Not to be confused with the Deep Purple song of the same name, this is the opening track of The Horrors' fourth studio album, Luminous. Frontman Faris Badwan told NME: "We pieced it together in the same way that you might do a techno track, and then began playing it live afterwards."
  • Speaking about the title of the album, Badwan said: "It's a powerful image: giving off light and releasing energy. It sums up a lot of the ways we make music. One thing that's always been central to the band is that we've kept the same level of intensity since the beginning."
