Songfacts®:

  • This seductive song is about a remarkably talented yet humble man. His miraculous gifts intimidate his girl even though he's able to make her wildest dreams come true.
  • The song was written by Alex Turner with his pal, Alexandra Savior. The sultry American singer-songwriter served as the opening act for a number of The Last Shadow Puppets shows in 2016.
  • Alexandra Savior told Artist Direct that she originally wrote the song for her record, "but I was just taking my sweet time putting it out." So Savior gave it to Alex Turner, "because it was between that song and a song I wrote in my bedroom" which she was more connected to.
