Songfacts®:

  • The Stone Roses broke their two-decade silence when this song debuted on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show at 8 p.m. on May 12, 2016. Their first single in 21 years picks up where the group left off in 1995 with a psych-rock sound and hippyish lyrics celebrating the unity between the four band members.
  • The song was recorded during sessions the band had at the Church Studios in Crouch End, north London in March 2016. It was produced by Paul Epworth, who has also worked with Adele, Coldplay, Paul McCartney and Primal Scream.
