This is the opening track from Computers And Blues, which is the fifth and final album from British rapper, musician and record producer Mike Skinner to be released under the alias The Streets. The album cover shows accommodation at the University of East Anglia.
Computers And Blues finds Skinner coming full circle recording on home equipment in the same manner as his early material. He told Scottish newspaper The Daily Record: "The guitar bit which sounds like a mandolin that's one of the loops that come free with Garage Band. It's just what you get if you buy a Mac. The idea of using it was partly as a nod to Rihanna's Umbrella, because the drumbeat on that track is just a standard Apple loop. On the last album, I decided I was going to do everything live. Computers And Blues is a real hybrid of some stuff that's basically recorded in the same way as the first album."
