Songfacts®:

  • The Veronicas wrote this song with British songwriters Wayne Hector and Jim Eliot. Jess Origliasso told News.com.au the lyrics were inspired by the twin's desire to wish future happiness to former lovers despite the heartbreak of a relationship ending.

"After you have loved and lived through different relationships," she explained, "you reach a place where there's a certain amount of acceptance that the love that you shared still exists even if the relationship doesn't."
  • Australian model, DJ, recording artist and actress Ruby Rose stars in the video, which documents the highs and lows of love and relationships. Following her appearance in the clip, she and Jess Origliasso started dating. "We have been friends for eight years. A really long time and it was just honestly the craziest thing," Jess told Nova FM's Kent 'Smallzy' Small. "We just reconnected over doing this video, she wrote and directed it, and is in it with us and we just sort of fell in love."
