  • Tyler Connolly, Dave Brenner and Dean back met in a guitar class and formed the band. Later on, Tyler met Nickelback's Chad Kroeger and handed him a demo cut by Theory of a Deadman. Kroeger liked what he heard and signed Theory of a Deadman to his own label, 604 Records.
  • In 2008, Theory of a Deadman appeared on the Canadian awards show, The Juno Awards, after conducting a Canadian tour called Journey to the Junos.
  • Theory of a Deadman played the halftime show at the 96th Grey Cup. The Super Bowl for the Canadian Football League put the band in front of 66,308 people and a broadcast that was carried by the Canadian cable channel, TSN and the American channel Versus. The game was also broadcast on ESPN360.com.
  • The band's third album, Scars & Souvenirs, featured eight singles, including "So Happy," "By The Way," "Little Smirk," "Bad Girlfriend," "All or Nothing," "Hate My Life," "Not Meant to Be" and "Wait for Me." The band invited American Idol participant, Chris Daughtry to provide the vocals on "By The Way."
  • Theory of a Deadman has collaborated with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on various occasions. They performed the theme song, "Deadly Game" for the WWE's No Way Out pay-per-view in 2006. The song is included on the complication album, WWE Reckless Intent. The band also covered "No Chance in Hell," the theme song for WWE's Vince McMahon, which appears on WWE The Music: Vol. 8.
  • Singer, Tyler Connolly, appears on a duet with Canadian country singer Aaron Pritchett covering "The Weight" by The Band.
