  • Connolly told Artist Direct that on Scars & Souvenirs, "there are a bunch of songs that have turned out much better than expected." He added that when the band started recording this track they were "like, 'Oh, it's a good rock song.' We didn't even know how it was going to turn out, but it turned out really well. When it was done, we made it the first single, and it took off. We were just completely surprised and, no pun intended… 'So Happy.'"
