  • Tempah wrote this song after hearing the tune "Kalasala Kalasala" from the Tamil action movie Osthe and thinking that the words sounded like 'don't sell out'. He decided to create a song poking fun at the term "selling out," as he feels its often used inappropriately. The rapper sampled "Kalasala Kalasala" and used it as a basis for the song's producers Balistiq to work around.
