  • Producer/songwriter David Jost told Rolling Stones that the lyrics and music of this wistful ballad are at the same time yearning and determined, a combination that was entirely frontman Bill Kaulitz's intention. He explained: "Bill came up with the idea that you need to be ready to get hurt, ready to feel. It's about dropping all your protective shields to feel something pure and overwhelming - it's about entering the here and now."
Kaulitz added: "Sometimes you have the feeling that there are so many beautiful things out there that you can not see for whatever reason. It takes courage to break down the walls that keep you away from really living your life."
  • In an interview for iTunes Tom Kaulitz described this as, "a really intimate song that describes our life really well."
