Songfacts®:

  • Twice is a nine-member South Korean girl group. JYP Entertainment put them together in 2015 after they won the reality girl group survival show Sixteen. Twice have released several covers of English-language songs, but this is their first original English single.
  • The nu-disco track finds the girls telling a guy he's stolen their heart. Having outlined their attraction to him, they hope the boy will make the next move. "The message is 'Don't hide your feelings. Follow your feels when you like someone,'" said Twice's Chaeyoung in a video on their YouTube channel. "So the song is really happy and confidence-boosting."
  • No members of Twice played a role in the high-energy track's creation. The writers are:

Anna Timgren, who also co-produced Twice's "Get Loud."

Boy Matthews, whose other credits include Duke Dumont's "Ocean Drive" and Keith Urban's "One Too Many."

Korean songwriter and producer collapsedone. He previously worked with Twice on their hit singles "Knock Knock" and "Candy Pop." Other JYP Entertainment artists on collapsedone's resumé include Day6 and Stray Kids.

Justin Reinstein. He has several collaborations with Justin Bieber to his credit, including "Dr. Bieber," and "Latin Girl."

Collapsedone and Reinstein also produced the track.
  • Collapsedone played the bass, guitar, and synthesizer on the track.
  • Oui Kim directed the video, which sees the Twice girls getting ready for and attending a retro high school prom.
