Songfacts®:

  • Released on April 9, 2014 as the second official single from Tyga's The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, this song features a guest appearance from Atlanta rapper Young Thug.
  • A hookah is a Middle Eastern water pipe often made of glass. It is used for vaporizing and smoking flavored tobacco called shisha.

A 2005 WHO report states that smoking using such a waterpipe is not a safe alternative to cigarette smoking. In an hour-long smoking session of hookah, users consume around 150 times the volume of smoke of a cigarette. Tyga acknowledges the dangers when he raps to his girl: "Looking at your future baby put down the cigarette."
  • The beat was supplied by Atlanta producer London on da Track, who is a frequent collaborator of Young Thug. He has also supplied production for other ATL spitters including Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame, Rich Homie Quan and T.I.
  • The song's music video was filmed on April 21, 2014, and directed by Alex Nazari and Tyga. The clip naturally features plenty of tobacco smoke from hookah water pipes.
