  • Rob Zombie is a big fan of horror films. He named White Zombie after a 1932 film of the same name, which starred Bela Lugosi.
  • John Ricci, who played guitar on White Zombie's 1989 album Make Them Die Slowly, is not the same person from the Canadian metal band Exciter.
  • They appeared in the movie Airheads as the performers at the Whisky a Go Go, in the scene where one of the officers (played by the late Chris Farley) looks for Chazz's girlfriend Kayla. The song that White Zombie performs at that scene is "Feed the Gods," which can be found on the Airheads soundtrack album and the 2008 box set Let Sleeping Corpses Lie. >>
