Songfacts®:

  • The third single from Wiz Khalifa's first major label album, Rolling Papers, finds the Pittsburgh rapper detailing an all night party: "No job and no sleep and/ Live it up like it's the weekend," he raps. "When the DJ plays the right song/ Gonna drink gonna party all night long / Party all day party all night/ You say you wanna party, let's party alright."
  • The party-all-night anthem was produced by Benny Blanco, who is better known for helming songs by pop stars rather than weed-friendly rappers. Among the hits on his resumé are Kesha's "TiK ToK," and Taio Cruz's "Dynamite."
