  • This song deals with self-doubt. Yael Naim explained: "I wrote this song facing my own cowardice for the first time. It was a shock to discover something like that about myself, but in the same time seeing myself naked in the mirror and writing about it that helped me to move on, to overcome my fear. This song is about what we all have in common: humanity."
  • In September 2016, Naim staged a flash mob where she performed this song at a piano during a busy time at the Forum des Halles shopping mall in Paris. As played, about 150 vocalists posing as customers began singing the backing vocals, and when the song builds in intensity, they pointed at her as they sang "Coward!"
