  • Yuna is a singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, who is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She has performed at the United Nations Refugee Agency's Nansen Refugee Award ceremony and was one of the contributors to "One Woman: A song for UN Women" which was launched on International Women's Day 2013.

    This song about a woman that can stand on her own two feet was based by Yuna on her friends in the U.N. and the things that they went through. She explained to Billboard magazine it tells, "how they were so strong and so inspiring." Yuna added: "I wanted to send an empowering message to people. You have to be strong in this world."
