  I love how this song portrays the woman the man hopes for in emotional and personality aspects, not in physical aspects which happens so often.
  I also love how the composer emphasises he won't force his ideas on the woman; he rather delights on the clash of their opinions and adds in the end, they'll still understand each other.
  Then it shows the complementary aspect of a relationship between a man and a woman. That one may be weak at times, and there the other one will always be there around.
  Lastly, there's the emphasis on "no controlling each other".
  No controlling each other, no forcing of ideas on one another... the composer tells that he wants a relationship where they love one another, accepting & respecting each other's differences. No matter what difficulties they would encounter due to that, they'll still love each other and remain together through the years...
  Brilliant composition there, Martin Gore.
  But, I'll add, in every relationship, one shall change their very bad side for the relationship to keep living and growing : ))
  
  This is a classically timeless song because it hits the heart of the listener. Still much requested in my country.
