  • When it all goes crazy and the thrill is gone
The days get rainy and the nights get long
When you get that feelin' you were born to lose
Starin' at your ceiling thinkin' of your blues

When there's so much trouble that you wanna cry
The world has crumbled and you don't know why
When your hopes are fading and they can't be found
Dreams have left you waiting, friends have let you down

    Just remember I love you
And it'll be alright (ooh, la la la, ooh)
    Just remember I love you
    More than I can say
Maybe then your blues will fade away

When you need a lover and you're down so low
You start to wonder but you never know
When it feels like sorrow is your only friend
Knowing that tomorrow you'll feel this way again

When the blues come callin' at the break of dawn
The rain keeps fallin' but the rainbow's gone
When you feel like cryin' but the tears won't come
When your dreams are dyin', when you're on the run

    Just remember I love you
And it'll be alright (ooh, la la la, ooh)
    Just remember I love you
    More than I can say
    Just remember I love you
And it'll be alright (just remember I love you)
It'll be alright (just remember I love you)
It'll be alright (just remember I love you)
It'll be alright (just remember I love you) Writer/s: Rick Roberts

  • Benjamin from Branson, MoYes, Austin, it sounds like a burp however you hear it at the word "there's" as well. Perhaps a buzzing or a guiro. If it's a gastrointestinal anomaly then singing and burping at the same time is some talent. Good ears! God bless us every one! ;)
  • Seventhmist from 7th HeavenSorry, Austin -- I listened and couldn't hear any burp.
  • Barry from Sauquoit, NyOn August 7th 1977, "Just Remember I Love You" by Firefall entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart at position #84; and on November 13th, 1977 it peaked at #11 {for 1 week} and spent 20 weeks on the Top 100...And on October 23rd, 1977 it reached #1 {for 2 weeks} on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Tracks chart...It was kept out of the Top 10 by Carly Simon's "Nobody Does It Better", which was at #10 during Firefall's one week at #11, but on the Adult chart it was "Just Remember I Love You" that knocked Ms. Simon out of the #1 spot.
  • Sherri Gaffney from Palm City, FlI was so blessed to have writer Rick Roberts sing this Song during Our Wedding Ceremony on Oct. 29, 2011. This has been my favorite Song since it was first released.
I Married Bob Gaffney who was in "Firefall" in the 80s. Our Best Friend "Chuck Kirkpatrick" who was also in the Band "Firefall" in the 80s Walked me down
the Aisle. It was a Magical Day for me at "Castle Otttis" in St. Augustine, Florida . Rick Roberts is a such an awesome person :) At the Reception, My Husband Bob, Chuck and Rick Roberts all performed all of Rick's Hits with "Firefall" during Our Reception. Thank you "Rick Roberts" for Sharing Your Musical Gifts with Us.
  • Mike from Norwalk, CtI was 11 yrs old when this song was a hit. Through the years when I would hear it, I would be comforted greatly by the words. When I was 18, I accepted Jesus as my Savior and then realized it was Him who used the song to comfort me. The "I" in the song is God in my opinion.
  • Joann from Portsmouth, VaJust love Firefall, and the song I really like is headed for a fall, thats a good one also. Have the cd and its something I never get tired listening too. Feel like I'm at their concert. gonna get out my cigerette lighter any minute now.
  • Austin from Cincinnati, OhDuring the 2nd verse right at the beginning of the line "your world has crumbled", during "world", you can clearly hear somebody burp. If you can't hear it at first, use headphones. Sorry if I ruined anybody's mood for listening to this, just thought it was funny.
