  • I'm leaving behind this world
And all the things I am (the things I am)
    I'm tearing away from it
    Because I know I can
    I'm pushing away from you
And all the things you are (the things you are)
    Don't need the memory
    Already wear the scars

    There is no yesterday
    Tomorrow's far away

    I (I) gave you everything
    And in return
    You gave me nothing
    Show me a sign (sign)
    Please give me anything
I will not hide from what's inside of me
    My nemesis

    I'm turning away from me
And all the things I've known (the things I've known)
I don't need your help no more
I can do this on my own
    I'm taking all the blame
Resent what I've become (what I've become)
    I regret everything and
    There's nowhere left to run

    There is no yesterday
    Tomorrow's far away

    I (I) gave you everything
    And in return
    You gave me nothing
    Show me a sign (sign)
    Please give me anything
I will not hide from what's inside of me
    My nemesis

    I (I) gave you everything
    And in return
    You gave me nothing
    Show me a sign (sign)
    Please give me anything
I will not hide from what's inside of me

  • Bryce from North DakotaI know the pain of not being there for someone when they need you the most. I had decided my best hope of getting my life together was to go to Job Corps. So I packed my things up and moved to the campus four hours away from my friends and family (currently still at Job Corps). My family doesn't have the money to come and get me for a weekend so I couldn't go home. About a week and a half after I got here my mom called me. My friend and my brothers roommate committed suicide. I'm angry at him for feeling it was his only option and I'm angry at myself for not knowing that he was in pain.
  • Branden from Orange Park, FlThe song always gives me the feels when watching the video because I been through what the boy went through.. it sucks we all face problems like this.. because you can give people everything but get nothing back. no matter what though you'll always be there for people even if no one is there for you.. you can always make others happy then yourself being happy when you know everything is s--t.
