  • Hiding in the shadows
I'll be waiting in the dark
    To drive this blade
    Straight through your heart
I'll drag your body to the car
As blood races down my arm
    I think everyone will wonder
    Where you are, do you?

I'll hide you in my walls
Your body will never be found
I'll wear your skin as a suit
    Pretend to be you
    Your friends will like you
    More than they used to

Dear diary, my teen angst bullshit
    Has a body count
I believe its six going on seven now
    Seven now

    I've been dreaming about you
In a pool of your own blood
    With your eyes gouged out
By the work of my thumbs
    The scent of your insides
    From under the floorboards
    The perfect perfume
    To settle a score

I'll hide you in my walls
Your body will never be found
I'll wear your skin as a suit
    Pretend to be you
    Your friends will like you
    More than they used to
    Pretend to be you
Your friend will like you More than they used to

  • Lindsey from Theodore, AlThe quote "Dear diary, my teen- angst bullsh*t has a body count" is a line from the 1988 film 'Heathers'.
  • Brad from Nocona, TxI read something before on a website saying that this song is actually inspired by "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre." Seems reasonable since the singer talks about wearing the skin of his victim ala Leatherface, but it could also be a reference to the inspiration of TCM, Ed Gein.
  • Mike from Matawan, NjSounds a lot like demonic possession. Wonderful.
  • Ruby from Melbourne, AustraliaRaf is right...
The songs bout 'murdering' your old personality purely to fit in with another group of people.
  • Ashley from Austin, Txman the first time i listened to this song i loved it. i like saying the lyrics to people to freak them out. like the "drag your body to the car as blood races down my arms". flat out amazing

  • Paige from Manchester, Nhi dont know if its true, but i heard this song was from sonny, deticated to his twin sister Raen. They have always hated eachother and are constantly getting into fights.he wrote this song because its been said that he really does hate her and wishes she would die.i know him and his sister dont get along but i dont think sonny would write a song to her that was that mean.
  • Amy from Nunyabiz, AlI accually didn't like this song at first but omg it's the greatest! Maybe it's just because I wasn't paying attention to the lyrics at first...? But anyway this song rox just like all the other songs by From First To Last. Especially The Latest Plague.
  • Raf from Pasadena, TxActually the song sound more like Someone constantly destroying there self image to be someone entirely different- Thus the line "Dear Diary my Teen angst bullsh** has a body count" The narrator is killing himself over and over again to be more liked by his friends.
  • Morgan from Gresham, Orthis is the best song ever. they played it at the concert the other day and everyone went crazy. and to corect the thing up there, he's saying "i'll wear your skin as a suit, your friends will like you more than they used to" inferring that he is a much better person than the person that he is killing.
lol i threaten ppl with the lyrics to this song XD
  • Cody from Sidney, Ohits a great song i luv from first to last
  • Brianna from Philadelphia, PaAmazing song. I love the "Dear Diary" Part.
