  • You
I don't know what to say
    You take my breath away
    You're every song I sing
You're the music that I play
And you take my breath away

    You
    You smile and it's okay
    You take my breath away
Like water from a stream on a sizzling summer day
    You take my breath away
There are words for the magic of a sunrise
Only none of them will due
    For You
    You take my breath away
And I don't know what to say
Cause you take my breath away

    You
    You take my breath away
And I don't know what to say
Cause you take my breath away
    You take my breath away
    You take my breath away
    You take my breath away

It was never any attraction I was young young but I love his music and when I need a smile I remember it and my kids even know the song by heart for I sang it so much. Ty Rex

  • Brad from Barry, TxRex Smith will always be the definitive on-screen Matt Murdock/Daredevil (from "The Trial of the Incredible Hulk")! And don't forget his turn as Jesse Mach in the short-lived series "Street Hawk."
  • Carol from Seattle, WaThis song was written for Sooner or Later but it was modified at Rex's request before going to recording.
For a very much needed time in my life he did Take My Breath Away as well as the pain of losing my husband.
I could not ask for a better gift than Rex or any of his beautiful songs.
My favorite song of Rex's is "Woman" from Headin' for Broadway.
As an artist he is one of the few that truly expresses his emotions in his work.
It should not be hard to tell what he is feeling and experiencing with any of the music from 1978 until 1985 these were the best 6 years of my life.
    Thanks Sexy!!!!
  • Michelle from Miami, Fldid he actually write this Song?? because it sure sounds like a barry manilow song to me.
  • Robin from Peru, In"You take my breath away" is one of the best songs ever made. Rex Smith is a very talented man. He has a wonderful voice and is gorgeous. I wish him and his family all the best. Thanks Rex, for all of the songs and shows you've given us.

  • Frank from Westminster, ScIf you take the words, "You Take My Breath Away" and "And I Don't Know What to Say" out of the lyrics, the song is around thirteen seconds long. I used to nearly sprain my arm changing stations when this turkey would come on the radio!
