  • How many times do you hear it?
It goes on all day long
    Everyone knows everything
    And no one's ever wrong
    Until later

    Who can you believe?
It's hard to play it safe
But apart from a few good friends
We don't take anything on faith
    Until later

Show (show) don't tell (don't tell)
    Show me don't tell me
    You've figured out the score
    Show me don't tell me
    I've heard it all before
    Show me don't tell me
I don't care what you say
    Show me don't tell me

    You can twist perceptions
    Reality won't budge
    You can raise objections
    I will be the judge
    And the jury

    I'll give it due reflection
    Watching from the fence
    Give the jury direction
    Based on the evidence
    I, the jury

Show (show) don't tell (don't tell)
    Show me don't tell me
    Hey, order in the court
    Show me don't tell me
Let's try to keep it short
    Show me don't tell me
    Enough of your demands
    Show me don't tell me
    Witness take the stand
    Show me don't tell me

Show (show) don't tell (don't tell)
Show (show) don't tell (don't tell)
    Show me don't tell me
    Hey, order in the court
    Show me don't tell me
Let's try to keep it short
    Show me don't tell me
I don't care what you say
    Show me don't tell me
    Let's see exhibit A
    Show me don't tell me
    You've figured out the score
    Show me don't tell me
    I've heard it all before
    Show me don't tell me
I don't care what you say
    Show me don't tell me
    Witness take the stand
    Show me don't tell me
    Hey, order in the court
    Show me don't tell me

  • Patrick from Bedford, TxHow did Alex makes his guitar sound like midi? Other than that, it's incredible: even better than Primus.
  • Dennis from Petoskey, MiMore recycled Randian philosophy. But still a really cool song.
  • Kenticus from Punta Mierde, IraqI have seen every show since hold your fire. Presto was'nt the best, but was a great tour. The Experience of seeing this song live the first go around made it cool with me.
  • John from Asheville, NcReally good song...a favorite from this album. Presto gets a bit of a rap for being a bit adult contemporary (in other words, not as ballsy)...or at least more so than their other albums. To me it's just another facet. Speed and tempo mean nothing without melody and form. So these songs generally "rock out(!)" a bit less...but they're rich and full for the most part.
  • Eric from Beaverton, OrThe album Presto seems to sound different than their other albums. And I don't mean that as in the style of music, it just sounds like the mixing or equipment they used to record was different - the sound on this album isn't quite as rich or full as their other albums. Has anyone else noticed this?
  • Robert from Arlington, VaAgreed. Many veteran Rush fans really drink the hate-o-rade when it comes to disrespecting the album Presto. Fortunately, we live in a world where everyone should be free to express their own opinion even if it runs counter to someone elses. While I wouldn't say Presto was Rush's best album, I would say that I think it's generally underappreciated.
  • Wil from Milwaukee, WiHow can 1 Rush album blow another "out of the water?" Kind of a ridiculous statement, don't you think?!? All of their albums are GREAT (but that's just my opinion....)!!!!! :) :) :)
  • Ryan from Plano, TxCounterparts blew Presto out of the water.
  • David from Port Hawkesbury, CanadaIt would be difficult to determine Rush's 'best' album, their most important being Caress of Steel, for it lead them in the direction of their following material and 2112, which saved their music career. My personal favourite would have to be...Well I guess I can't decide on that either...Rush rules.
  • Larry from Vancouver, WaThis should have been considered the band's best album. I think the writing and production is the best that they ever put out.
