  • Went down to Santa Fe
    Where Renoir paints the walls
    Described you clearly
But the sky began to fall

Am I ever gonna see your face again
Am I ever gonna see your face again

    Trams, cars and taxis
    Little waxworks on the move
    Carry young girls past me
But none of them are you

Am I ever gonna see your face again
Am I ever gonna see your face again

    Without you near me
I got no place to go
    Wait at the bar
    Maybe you might show

Am I ever gonna see your face again
Am I ever gonna see your face again

I've got to stop these tears
    That's falling from my eye
Go walk out in the rain
So no one sees me cry

Am I ever gonna see your face again
Am I ever gonna see your face again

Am I ever gonna see your face again
Am I ever gonna see your face again

    Can't stop the memory
That goes climbing through my brain
    I get no answers
    So the question still remains

Am I ever gonna see your face again
Am I ever gonna see your face again

Am I ever gonna see your face again

  • Keith from Brisbane, AustraliaDuring a recent reunion in Adelaide I was told (from a reliable source) that the tag "No way, get F****ed , F**k off" started when the band visited Christies Beach High School in the mid 70's (a place where they had played for many years as Moonshine Jug and String Band) and the students there started singing the tag. I would believe that, having been at CBHS at that time. CBHS in the 70's - 'choice!'... oh well at least it is famous for something!!!

  • Nady from Adelaide, AustraliaAhem, it's not the "mostly male" members of the audience who sing the ever famous line "No WAY GET F--KD F--K OFF!!" Us sheilas like to have a crack at it too, it's just that the blokes are wayyy louder. Ripper song by the way...beauty bonza vegemite. heh heh
  • Ken from Perth, AustraliaSaw 'The Angels' at the Bon Scott tribute show in 2007...amazing live after all these years. And don't forget 'The Screaming Jets'...another fine Aussie band that were at the same tribute show. The rest of the world really missed out on these two bands.
  • Conrad from Raglan, New ZealandI gotta agree.Although I love the early metal 70's and the grunge years there's nothing better to cruise to in a Panelvan on a hot summers day than the Angels,Hunters&Collectors, laced with a splash of Midnight Oil and the HuduGurus. Thats a happy place for me : )
  • Gerry Walsh from Melbourne, AustraliaThe best era of music ever.... well for me anyway,,,from the ages of 9 y.o in 1976 to 16 y.o in 1983.... those 7 years there was hit after hit around the world and especially in the land of Oz that to this day 2007, nothing comes quite close ...whether that is because i was at that age or i just simply was a brilliant era with The Angels,Cold Chisel,Rose Tattoo,Kiss,Ad/dc,Australian Crawl,Sharon O'Neill,Fleetwood mac,Jimmy Barnes,The Choirboys,Mi-Sex,The Divinyls and many more....
