    (Ho)
    (Hey)

(Ho) I been tryin' to do it right
(Hey) I been livin' a lonely life
(Ho) I been sleepin' here instead
(Hey) I been sleepin' in my bed
(Ho) I been sleepin' in my bed
    (Hey)
    (Ho)
    (Ho) so show me family
(Hey) all the blood that I will bleed
    (Ho) I don't know where I belong
(Hey) I don't know where I went wrong
(Ho) but I can write a song
    (Hey)

I belong with you, you belong with me
    You're my sweetheart
I belong with you, you belong with me
    You're my sweet

    (Ho)
    (Hey) come on, now
    (Ho) hey
    (Hey)

(Ho) I don't think you're right for him
(Hey) think of what it might've been if we
(Ho) took a bus to Chinatown
(Hey) I'd be standin' on Canal
    (Ho) and Bowery
    (Hey)
(Ho) she'd be standin' next to me
    (Hey)

I belong with you, you belong with me
    You're my sweetheart
I belong with you, you belong with me
    You're my sweetheart

    Love, we need it now
    Let's hope for some
    'Cause, oh, we're bleedin' out

I belong with you, you belong with me
    You're my sweetheart
I belong with you, you belong with me
    You're my sweet

  • Eoghan Mag from IrelandI'd be amazed if these boys hadn't seen The Saw Doctors somewhere along the way. I think The Lumineers are excellent but any Irish person who heard Hey! Ho! would have laughed and said that they must have been listening to 'the Docs' (The nickname for The Saw Doctors). Check out Hay Wrap. Both are on the same circuit with the Docs a fair few years ahead of them. Anyway Lumineers keep up the good work!

I'd love to see ye live sometime but I'm too busy with my plans to take over the house, if I can take over the house I can take over the street, then the neighbourhood, the town, the region, the county, the province, Ireland, europe and eventually the globe! Yesssss!

    - SHUT UP EUGENE! The babies are trying to sleep.
  • Fred Liu from TokyoLove listening to this song. If anyone is interested, here's a few covers that could use some love on youtube.

  • Rotunda from Tulsa, OkWhat a great song! It was all over the radio & I went out & bought their album "The Lumineers" because of "Ho Hey." What a great surprise when I heard the other songs on the album were all great. This band is awesome. And the blonde lead singer can "rub my cantaloupes anytime!"
