  • Do you feel fear?
    I feel it?
    Of all the stupid things
    A man could feel
    While his freedom rings
    Oh oh
Will make him, make him squanders the deal

Come back and touch my face
Feel for fever in the night
    You look into my eyes
But you don't really recognize me anymore

    What am I, blind?
    What took me this long?
    Can we hit rewind
On somebody's magic bong? oh oh

Come back and touch the face
I feel for fever in the night
    You look into my eyes
But I don't really recognize you anymore, not anymore

    Passed another pointless year
I was foaming at the mouth
I with my hands ever up
    And yours stretching out
I know I've run out of luck
But this fear is a terrible drug
If I only had sense enough
To let it give way to love

Come back and touch my face
Feel for fever in the night
You look in, you look into my eyes
But you don't really recognize me anymore

    No, no, no, not anymore
Not anymore Writer/s: James Russell Mercer

  • Steph499 from .Yes, I agree. Looking more in depth I see a person who is fearful of relationships because he realizes he truly wants to be with his family ( and Ex wife) Just too proud to admit it. My parents have always said people come and go, but don’t overlook the one who’s always been there, the one who truly loves you because lust and fortune can cause you to go astray and you lose everything. Only to realize too late. And that is so true. Why do people realize too late? You can’t replace your family or the years earned!
