• Tony Z from San DiegoTo Mark Nowhere: I am actually reading Al's autobiography right now. I love him and Ministry and everything he does but we have to be careful with his memory. Just two pages later in the book he says Zeppelin was touring the states in 1983. Zeppelin had been broken up for 3 years at that point.
• Marc From Nowhere from HellAl Jorgensen (Ministry) said, in his autobiography, that this song was about him. He dated her in the early 80's.
• Ryan from Boston MaI'm a longtime Boston (proper) resident. I believe the neighborhood shots of common brownstone stairs are, by my guesstimate, either Comm Ave or Marlborough St. Which would mean the video was shot in the Back Bay, not the South End. You have a very good eye. Note the Davio's Restaurant door when it was located in a tiny space on Newbury St. The restaurant has changed locations several times since 1985 but still remains. Now in the North End.
• Elizabeth 6656 from Virginia When you look up the lyrics to “Voices Carry “; nowhere does it read the infamous and deeply heartbreaking end where she sings “He said SHUT UP…Oh God I can’t keep it down now…” This song is dark in its beautiful manner and if you can relate, or have ever been in love with someone incapable of loving you back:’the all consuming black hole -type’ surely the song will remind you (much like a smell or taste can bring you instantly back) to that time and the personal conflict you experienced.
