  • This is the title track and lead single from Beirut's No No No album. The record was recorded following a period of turmoil in Beirut mastermind Zach Condon's life, having faced a divorce and been admitted into a hospital in Australia for exhaustion following extensive touring. However, Condon recovered after falling in love with a Turkish woman. Asked by Radio.com if his new girlfriend is the subject of this song, Condon replied laughing: "I don't think at the time I was trying directly to write about it, but I guess it was pretty obvious. Yes and no. Part of the lyric is very old and part of it is very much about her."

"That song is the oldest in the bunch, the only one that survived when I couldn't even finish the others," he added. "And it still stuck out three or four years later."
